Process · evidence before execution

A rebuild should start with a diagnosis, not a blank canvas.

The CRISP process separates what the evidence says, what the business needs, and what the agreed scope includes. You can see the reasoning before the build begins.

[ 01 ]the five stages

One evidence record from audit to handover.

Each stage has a different purpose. The audit identifies signals. Human review adds business context. The scope decides what will actually be changed.

You do not have to commit to every stage.

01after the score

Use the findings yourself

Take the free result and use it as a starting point for your own team or existing supplier.

02after the review

Choose the priority

Decide whether the issue is important enough to address now, later, or not at all.

03before the build

Approve a defined scope

Proceed only when the work, boundaries, responsibilities, and pricing basis are clear.

[ 03 ]what we check

The final check follows the agreed scope.

Every launch is different, but the handover should clearly state what was checked. Typical checks include:

  • key enquiry, booking, and form journeys;
  • keyboard access, visible focus, useful alternatives, and reduced-motion behaviour;
  • mobile and desktop layouts across the agreed page set;
  • titles, descriptions, canonicals, schema, sitemap entries, and internal links;
  • analytics and conversion events included in the scope;
  • known limitations, owner responsibilities, and any follow-up work.
